National Day of Prayer

Day: Thursday May 6th

Starts at 6:00am & end at 6:00pm

Location: Anywhere you are. You can sign up to pray for all the themes mentioned below or for some of them as the Spirit leads you. You can pray individually or in groups. You have 60 minutes to pray for each theme. 


Prayer Guide

6:00-7:00    Thanksgiving. Praising God for how He has blessed you and your family during this time.

7:00-8:00    Pray for our local Church (your pastors, session, deacons, staff, church members and church ministries).

8:00-9:00  Pray for our country and for the world. Pray for peace, repentance, and true reconciliation among the different group divisions and for reconciliation with God.

 9:00-10:00 Pray for the marriages in our church and the marriages of love ones.

10:00-11:00 Pray for our law enforcement officers, and first responders.

11:00-12:00  Pray for our government authorities (president, governor, senators, judges etc).

12:00-1:00   Pray for our denomination the Presbyterian Church in America, for our presbytery (The Piedmont Triad Presbytery) and for the upcoming General Assembly this summer in St.Louis, Missouri.

1:00-2:00   Pray for our community in Davidson county (for people’s conversions, for the people in need and for the outcast).

2:00-3:00   Pray for the women who are considering to have abortions, pray for the restoration of the women who have experienced the trauma of abortion, pray for the babies, the children, and the youth of our church.

3:00-4:00  Pray for spiritual and physical healing (The healing of those struggling with cancer, Covid, etc).

4:00-5:00 Pray for our local and international missionaries, especially for those that Meadowview supports.

5:00-6:00 Pray for your enemies, pray for joy and hope. Pray that the Lord will help you see your new identity in Christ, and that you won’t live in fear and hopelessness.
